Magazine Cover Design

In this project, students design an original magazine cover that combines photography, typography, and layout design. Students select a theme or subject and create a visually compelling cover using Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator.

The goal of this project is to strengthen understanding of composition, visual hierarchy, and typography. Students learn how to arrange headlines, subheadings, images, and graphic elements in a clear and engaging layout. Emphasis is placed on font pairing, alignment, spacing, color harmony, and creating a strong focal point.

Through this process, students develop skills in branding, audience awareness, and professional-level design presentation while producing a polished, publication-style cover.
